Employment

We spend a lot of life at Medical Management Support Services.  You bring the spark and we will provide the rest.  Long ago our billers could work on one software system with a green screen.  All claims and statements were printed and mailed and the only option to follow up on unpaid or denied claims was by phone, fax, or mail.   Those days are long gone.  A modern professional medical biller needs to not only have skill in revenue cycle management but also to be able to quickly learn new software systems.  Insurance carriers are constantly changing coverage guidelines and how information is accessed.  Now more than ever a person needs to be able to quickly adapt to change and adapt to new processes as they become available.   We help train our staff to be adaptable problem solvers.  As an employee of Medical Management, your days will fly by.

It is our goal that each member of our team be an expert from A to Z in managing medical claims.   We believe that an employee not only needs to receive a wage for their work but also ongoing education so that they can continue to improve and increase their job satisfaction.  This means we train our staff to be skilled in all aspects of revenue cycle management including data entry, patient collections, effective communication with insurance companies, appeal of denials, skilled use of a computer, and guidance for written and verbal communication.  Data entry is still required for many tasks and we ask that you be able to type at least 45 WPM.  Good communication, ability to work well with others, and being organized goes far in being a successful team member and enjoying your work.  We not only provide an ongoing education but also it is our goal to have excellent benefits and a great work environment.

Because we manage medical claims we constantly see the financial impact of poor coverage.  We provide our staff with to options for health insurance and optional supplemental coverage at the employee’s discretion.  We also want our staff members to be financially healthy and plan ahead for their future.  Instead of matching the amount employees contribute to their retirement we lead the way for eligible employees and automatically contribute 3% of their income to retirement without regard to their contributions.  Once an employee is eligible to join the retirement plan they own (are fully vested) all company contributions to their account.   This is a rare and generous benefit that we make available for our staff members.  We also encourage employees to have personal savings accounts by incentivizing staff to directly deposit a small amount automatically into their savings from the payroll.

In addition to retirement and health insurance, we also recognize that our skill of professional medical billing means our staff will be spending the majority their time working at a computer.  Our wellness program recognizes the impact computer work can have on our health.  We offer flexible workstations including options for standing desks.  We encourage wellness and have had great success incentivizing staff to reach for wellness goals and regularly exercise.  We also recognize that we work to support our families and provide paid time off and flexible scheduling so our staff can be away from work and not worry about lost income.

We put a lot of life into our work and value our employees.  For employment with Medical Management Support Services please attach a pdf copy of your resume to  hireme@mmsspro.com  along with your contact information.
